Despite weddings being mostly planned in the summer, Essie and Casey had the most beautiful, sunny blue skied January day in London. They have such a sweet love story - having met while working together at a bookstore and falling in love over books. Their wedding day was intimate, small and crafted with a lot of detail and attention - their best friends helped them with hair and preparations and their outfits were purchased from ethical suppliers which tells a lot about their intention to make the wedding as sustainable as possible. From their cosy flat where we captured a few getting ready shots, we walked together to Chelsea Town Hall, where they got married amongst loved ones, and then proceeded to a local bakery to refuel before the couple shots. London is a perfect location for couple shots - tiled backdrops and victorian buildings, it has such a romantic vibe. The day ended at Essie & Casey’s flat with their friends and their beloved ginger cat that was the model of the day.
